CARMAN MOORE conducted the Skymusic Ensemble in 5  of his works at Roulette in Brooklyn on February 1, 2018 as part of the Interpretations Series of Thomas Buckner.  Works were HARLEM (MORNINGSIDE MYSTIQUE); POINT-COUNTERPOINT (with poem by CM read by Buckner); THE QUIET PIECE; DANTE HELL WATER (featuring pianist David Pearl); and RIGHTEOUS HEROES (with vocal by Mordior Bamba).

Carman Moore was commissioned by New York's Museum of Modern Art to create a score for Terrance McKnight-curated evening honoring Robert Rauschenberg's 34 drawings honoring Dante's INFERNO cantos.  Poets Robin Lewis and Kevin Young read their commissioned poems to the score performed mainly by The Skymusic Ensemble, conducted by Carman Moore on September 12, 2017 at MoMA.  Also performing were blues master Bill Sims, vocalist Lucia Bradford, and dancer Davalois Fearon.  Beautifully received by audience and MoMA staff!
